However, in the deeper spiritual sense, Shiva is within every living being and in all of creation, as the supreme consciousness (Paramatman).

As stated in the Shiva Purana:
"Shiva is all-pervading, eternal, and beyond time. He is present in every atom of the universe."

Thus, Shiva is not limited to any single place; He is both immanent and transcendent.
