In the teachings and philosophy associated with Lord Shiva, particularly as found in Hindu scriptures and Shaivism, the concept of rebirth (punarjanma) is central. According to these teachings, the soul (atman) is eternal and takes on different bodies across various lifetimes based on karma (actions performed in previous births).There is no teaching that suggests people are reborn with exactly the same face in their next birth.
