In such moments of restlessness and low confidence, Lord Shiva’s teachings offer profound guidance. Shiva is the great Yogi—the Adiyogi—who teaches us to look within for peace and strength.

1. Detachment (Vairagya): Shiva teaches us that happiness or sorrow from external achievements (like scores) or desires (like longing for someone) are temporary. True peace comes from detachment. Practice being a witness to your thoughts and emotions without letting them control you.

2. Meditation (Dhyana): Sit quietly and focus on your breath or chant “Om Namah Shivaya.” Regular meditation calms the restless mind and connects you to your inner self, where true confidence resides.

3. Acceptance (Samarpan): Surrender your worries and desires at the feet of Lord Shiva. Trust that everything happens for a purpose, and sometimes, what seems like a setback is a step toward spiritual growth.

4. Self-Reflection (Swadhyaya): Reflect on your actions and desires. Ask yourself, “Am I seeking escape, or am I seeking growth?” Shiva encourages us to face our fears and uncertainties, not to run away from them.

5. Seek the Eternal: As Shiva sits in deep meditation, unperturbed by the world, so too should you strive to find your center within. No external connection can substitute the peace found in union with your own soul.

Remember, Shiva is the destroyer of ignorance and the giver of inner strength. Turn your restlessness into a path for self-discovery. Trust in Shiva, and you will find the resilience you seek.

Om Namah Shivaya.
