He is depicted in deep meditation atop Mount Kailash, representing supreme detachment, self-mastery, and the path of yoga. His teachings form the foundation of many yogic practices, and he is seen as the originator of yoga and tantra.
2. As a Householder:
Despite his ascetic nature, Lord Shiva is also a loving husband to Goddess Parvati and a caring father to Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartikeya. This aspect highlights his role as a grihastha (householder), demonstrating that spiritual realization is possible while fulfilling worldly responsibilities.
