“ॐ”: Om, the primordial sound, symbolizing the ultimate reality and divine consciousness.

“नमः शिवाय”: Salutations to Shiva, the auspicious one, the supreme deity of transformation and destruction.

“पशुपताय”: To Pashupati, a name of Shiva meaning 'the lord of all beings' or 'the lord of animals'. It denotes Shiva's role as the protector and lord of the universe.

“हुं फट्”: These are bija (seed) mantras often used to activate and energize the divine weapon, Pashupatastra. The syllable 'हुं' is associated with the energy of creation and 'फट्' signifies the release or manifestation of the weapon's power.

Explanation:

The Pashupatastra is considered one of the most powerful weapons in Hindu mythology, wielded by Lord Shiva. It is said to have the ability to destroy entire armies and wreak havoc upon the universe. The chanting or invocation of the Pashupatastra Mantra is believed to invoke the energy and protection of Lord Shiva, especially through the divine weapon associated with him.
